CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE



Dear Fellow Mid-South Engineers,

MAESC '99 was just a few months ago, but it's not too soon to start thinking about and to announce the Second Annual Memphis Area Engineering Societies Conference, MAESC 2000.

By all measures, last year's conference was a success. Thanks again for your participation. We learned a great deal from our first experience and received significant positive/constructive feedback to help make our next conference an even greater success.

I look forward to working with the organizing committee, the conference advisory committee, and others to make MAESC 2000 relevant, informative, and enjoyable to our engineering community.

So mark your calendars for May 11, 2000. The conference theme and call for papers will be announced in a few weeks. See you at MAESC 2000.
