On Tightening the Upper Bound on the Aperiodic Autocorrelation Function for the Maximal-Length Sequence

Abstract
The upper bound on the aperiodic autocorrelation function for a maximal-length sequence has already been established. This bond has a great impact on the operation of systems utilizing such sequence. A method for tightening this bound is proposed. The development of this method is based on the application of Gronwall inequality.
